What is a Doula?

A doula is a person that provides nonmedical support to a birthing person – and often to their family – throughout pregnancy and birth, and assists in adjusting to life with a newborn.

A doula offers support without judgement.

A doula is an indispensable asset in navigating the often overwhelming amount of knowledge around birth and parenting.

A doula can sometimes be the only person without an agenda.

If birth was a ‘wedding’, a doula helps a birthing person prepare for the ‘marriage’.

A doula is there for you.
